Foundry Projects Limited (previously branded as Towerip) are specialists in the design, manufacture, installation and commissioning of bespoke equipment to the foundry industry. We have been operating for over thirty years offering our services to this market which has over spilled into other markets requiring similar types of equipment.
We are based centrally in the UK and until recent years the UK market has provided a sustainable client data base. We have also benefited from expanding our supply into many other parts of the world which has more than replaced the reduced opportunities from the UK market. We have been active in Australia, Bahrain, China, Finland, France, Germany, Holland, South Korea, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Slovenia and USA.
The main reason for our success has been down to the experience and expertise to be able to provide technical solutions to meet a customer’s individual specific needs. The large volumes of repeat business are a testimony to the quality and service our company offers. Many of our contracts are full turnkey to enable the client to have a minimal input and we take care of the rest but we are equally happy to tailor the level of our input to meet a client’s specific requirements.
Our contracts tend to come directly from privately owned foundries worldwide. Our largest contract to date was for a whole new melting plant comprising of cupolas, structures, charging systems, cranes, bag filter etc. We have worked with foundries at all levels from the very smallest to the very largest including steelworks.
Generally speaking, the nature of the foundry industry demands that only the most robust equipment should be supplied to provide the expected life term of operation. Foundry Projects Ltd prides itself in meeting this objective and this is demonstrated to us by the extremely low level of spare or replacement parts supplied which equates to less than 1% of our business.
- A comprehensive range of products and services
- Experience in most aspects of the foundry industry
- High quality of workmanship
- Reliability of equipment supplied
- Commitment to offer customer satisfaction
Is to offer our experience and skills in this challenging environment to provide our customers with the best possible solutions to suit the available budget. To achieve this we must endeavour to be creative and to this end we find that we must commit a large proportion of our time as a team into the early feasibility stages of most projects. This roll becomes vital to many foundries that no longer have their own resources to work through the concept design process.
